Job description

About the Registered Nurse Position

Contract Registered Nurse to work with individuals with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. This is for a one-week summer camp - June 1st - 5th. We will have 10 students and 2 nurses - nurses will provide medication and help with any emergency or care needs for students.

The ideal candidate will be an accountable and well-trained professional, able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions

  • Document patient care services - as needed

  • Provide support to students during an overnight summer camp at Clemson University for one week, June 1st - 5th. You will stay on campus for the week of the camp.

Registered Nurse Requirements
  • Proven experience as a registered nurse

  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

  • Pass a background check ad nurse registry check

  • Previous experience with individuals with ID/DD is preferred

  • BSc or another diploma from a nursing program

  • Valid nursing license
