We're Hiring: Overnight Shift Supervisor  

Location: Camden County, NJ Employment Type: Onsite Department: Children's Community Residential

Salary Range: $23.85 - $24.33 Plus additioanl incentive

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 9pm-7am

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) within Bancroft's Pediatric and Adolescent Residential Program, you'll support children with autism and disabilities and empower them to realize their best life.

Bancroft is hiring throughout Burlington and Camden County, including Mount Laurel, Cherry Hill and Voorhees, NJ for an overnight Shift Supervisor for our Children's Residential Community Program.

Responsibilities

Provides supervision and oversight to direct reports within direct areas of responsibility on assigned shift.

  • Provides ongoing leadership, advice, training, feedback, and guidance to staff regarding a) the conducting of functional analysis and treatment sessions for assigned persons served and b) the daily care, instruction, and safety of persons served at assigned program site as outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP), Annex A, and/or program descriptions;
  • Ensures proper staffing levels and work distribution within assigned program site in accordance with levels of supervision, Annex A, and/or program descriptions;
  • Conducts regular staff meetings and attends program management meetings to promote a constant flow of information, open discussions, knowledge sharing, and to keep staff well-informed;
  • As needed, attends various internal management meetings, external conferences, family conferences, etc., to both obtain and share information;
  • Manages the ongoing job performance of direct reports; develops and communicates performance goals, completes performance evaluations within established timeframes; provides feedback, develops and takes action on performance improvement plans, and determines and implements disciplinary action as needed;
  • Appropriately delegates work responsibilities;
  • Supports the professional development and career growth of direct reports by identifying and providing ongoing training and certification attainment in accordance with state licensing regulations and any accreditation standards, as applicable within area of responsibility.

Supervises the overall operations, activities, and overall environment of the program site within direct areas of responsibility and for assigned shift.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required with two-three years in the Human Services or related field. 

Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals preferred. 

BA in a related field plus one year of related experience preferred.
