Job description

The Overnight Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and smooth overnight operations of the community during the hours of 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role provides leadership and support to all overnight team members while ensuring residents receive quality care and services in a safe and secure environment. The Overnight Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for emergencies, operational concerns, and building-related issues during overnight hours.

Key responsibilities include conducting routine interior and exterior building rounds, monitoring resident safety systems and pendant calls, responding to emergencies, assisting with minor maintenance concerns, supporting nursing and care staff, and documenting all overnight activities and incidents. The Overnight Supervisor also communicates effectively with leadership, residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care and operations.

This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills, along with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. The Overnight Supervisor must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing overnight operations while maintaining Kensington Senior Living’s commitment to exceptional resident care and service.
