Job description

Build Specialist/ Off Road Advisor
Off-Road Place is looking to hire an exceptionally skilled Build Specialist/Service Advisor who is passionate about the Off-Road/Overland sector. The aforementioned individual will come with a growth mindset and parts catalog knowledge to recommend after-market parts and accessories to various Toyota/Lexus vehicles for clients. This individual will be responsible for providing prompt estimates to customers assisting in managing shop schedules, while adhering to our detail-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข You will be responsible for providing estimates/quotes to clients promptly
โ€ข Daily check internal customer support platforms to respond to customer inquiries and questions
โ€ข Be available to answer phone calls, text, and emails through your phone using a 3rd party app
โ€ข Maintaining a working knowledge of build specs for current generation vehicles and two generations prior
โ€ข Assisting in curating the product catalog for the off-road shop
โ€ข Provide exceptional customer service
โ€ข Maintain and exude brand image and culture at all times
โ€ข Manage shop calendar to assist timely workflow of our technicians
โ€ข Assist in maintaining Brand/Vendor Relations
Qualifications
โ€ข Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Service Advisor, Build Specialist or dedicated Off-Road Advisor
โ€ข Knowledge of product offerings for varied makes and models (primarily Toyota/Lexus 4x4 vehicles)
โ€ข Strong customer service background
โ€ข Thorough time management skills
Preferred Experience
โ€ข Has either built their own rig or assisted in building rigs
โ€ข Able to work autonomously with little to no input
โ€ข Primarily Toyota and Lexus vehicle knowledge (4Runner, Tundra, Tacoma, Sequoia, FJC, Land Cruiser (80/100/200 series).
