Job description

This position requires a high level of competency in handling both Residential and Commercial property loss claims for our clients and has been described as "a fast-paced" work environment. Our adjusters handle a variety of tasks in assisting our clients. They spend a portion of their time with clients, in the field outdoors, and a portion of their time in the office. Occasional overnight travel is required. they negotiate the clients Residential or Commercial loss with the insurance adjuster to get the highest settlement possible.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance company's adjuster at loss location or by other communication
  • Maximize the settlement of clients claims in order to work toward company's financial goals.
  • Travel to property where loss occurred and prepare a physical count of items that were damaged.
  • Sit with clients and help them with recreating their inventory.
  • Create client inventories from pictures the client has of items in the house.
  • Travel to vendors and review inventory
  • Proficient in Excel used for pricing, printing of inventory claims.
  • Assemble new client files and make introductory and follow-up calls.
  • Communicate with vendors concerning the property owners claim.
  • Available to assist in special projects assigned by operations manager
  • Bring Claims to a close as expeditiously as possible.
  • Evaluate insurance policy language and determine coverage.
  • Coordinate payments to clients from insurance proceeds.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to our clients.
  • Log all the necessary trackable dates into company Salesforce.

Expectations:

  • Ability to grasp our process and procedures and contribute to the efficiency of processing inventory claims.
  • Meet of exceed management benchmarks for preparation and processing of inventory claims.
  • Being flexible to work in any portion of the inventory claims that management deems necessary.
  • Some overnight travel is required.
