Are you a customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service? The Country Club of Buffalo is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our outside services team in the golf department. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring our members and guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience at our prestigious golf course.

We are seeking outgoing, friendly individuals for our golf course starter position. The starter will assist our members and guests prior to play, ensuring groups are beginning play on time and in the proper order. The starter will also maintain the daily play sheet and be responsible for billing the appropriate charges. This position is important to the overall golf experience of our members and guests with the expectation that they will have a positive impact on the entire golf operation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing member and guest play
  • Being a great teammate; assisting fellow employees with golfer needs
  • Billing appropriately charges for members and guests
  • Alerting other team members when member or guest require assistance
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to: work on your feet, lift heavy items which include over your head

Requirements

OTHER/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Seasonal - position lasts until approximately end of October, potential for 2027 golf season
  • 10-20 hours per week
  • We are looking to fill shifts on weekend afternoons, weekday mornings and Thursday afternoon.
  • Must be 18 years old per New York State law
  • Must be able to work on your feet, lift heavy items which include over your head
