Job description

About AutoPayPlus
AutoPayPlus by US Equity Advantage is an industry-leading automated financial concierge. Since 2003, we have helped more than 500,000 members budget better, avoid late payments, protect their credit, and pay off loans faster by matching payments to their paycheck cycle. We process billions in payments through long-term relationships with independent agencies and dealerships nationwide.
Our partners rely on AutoPayPlus—and offerings such as RePayPlus—to help dealers close more deals, improve affordability, accelerate equity, and deliver a differentiated F amp;I experience. We are looking for an Agency Development Manager who can turn those advantages into consistent production.
The Opportunity
AutoPayPlus is seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused Agency Development Manager (ADM) to expand our agency distribution channel. You will drive qualified enrollments, increase production, activate and grow producing agencies, and strengthen policies and programs already in market.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building meaningful connections, solving problems creatively, and coaching agencies and their dealer networks to win. You will be a trusted advisor—training partners on products, systems, compliance, and best practices—while prospecting new agencies and collaborating internally so our offerings stay competitive and relevant.
Success requires building trust, listening well, and staying solution oriented. If you are motivated by goals, creative thinking, and measurable growth, you will thrive in this field-based position.
How You Will Contribute
  • Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing assigned agencies to drive qualified production and long-term partnerships.
  • Generate new production through consistent outreach with new and existing agencies—phone, email, virtual meetings, and face-to-face visits.
  • Identify and develop new agency opportunities through disciplined prospecting.
  • Deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing support so agencies and their dealer partners are fluent in AutoPayPlus products, enrollment workflows, systems, and compliance guidelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on AutoPayPlus, RePayPlus, and related offerings; stay current on industry trends, F amp;I dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide account management support and keep accurate records of agency interactions in CRM.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to keep agency communication consistent, useful, and on brand.
  • Proactively monitor key performance metrics—production, activation, retention, and training adoption—and identify opportunities for coaching or additional support.
  • Work with Product and Sales leadership to share competitive intelligence and surface needed product enhancements or new opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team goals consistently.
  • Represent AutoPayPlus professionally at trade shows, conferences, agency meetings, and in-person dealer or agency visits.
  • This is a remote, field-based position requiring approximately 50% travel throughout the assigned territory, including regular overnight travel for agency and dealership visits, training, conferences, and industry events.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Skills amp; Experience to Be Successful
  • 3+ years of successful business development, account management, or field sales experience within automotive F amp;I, agency distribution, dealership services, auto finance, or a closely related automotive financial-services environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for in-person visits within the assigned territory, including overnight stays as needed.
  • Ability to navigate challenges with a positive attitude and adapt to changing priorities or market conditions.
  • Consistent representation of the company with integrity and professionalism.
  • Team-oriented, with the discipline to hit team deadlines and individual production goals.
  • Results-oriented and comfortable in a high-volume, goal-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and genuine interest in the products and partners we serve.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently across a territory.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple agency priorities at once.
  • Routine travel that may require driving a personal or rental vehicle. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record results at hire and periodically thereafter, plus maintenance of minimum insurance coverages, are required.
Preferred
  • Direct experience working with automotive agencies, dealer groups, F amp;I departments, or dealership principals strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Creatio CRM or similar agency/partner platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with principals, producers, F amp;I managers, and dealer operators.
  • Polished presentation skills for virtual and in-person product training.
  • Comfort talking with new people daily in-person, by phone, or virtually.
  • AFIP certification or comparable F amp;I / compliance credentials.
Why AutoPayPlus
Join a company with more than two decades in market, a clear mission—help members budget better, protect their credit, and become debt-free sooner—and a growing partner network that values training, compliance, and real differentiation for dealers. You will work with a collaborative sales organization that invests in agency success and in developing the next generation of field leaders.
AutoPayPlus is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
