Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
  • Visit customer sites regularly to understand operations, identify needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts to increase retention and increase sales.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to learn product specifications and customer applications.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus commission opportunities, bonus opportunities, car allowance or mileage reimbursement, and benefits package. Final compensation structure will be based on candidate experience, and results.

Our locally owned industrial material and repair operation has been in business for 50 years. We are seeking a driven Outside Industrial Sales Representative to grow revenue by building strong customer relationships, developing new business, and delivering solution-based sales support. This field-based role is ideal for someone who is comfortable spending significant time meeting customers face-to-face, and selling industrial products and/or services to business customers in construction, distribution, utilities, or related sectors.
