Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Outpatient Supervisor oversees the daily
operations of outpatient mental health services, ensuring the effective delivery of care to individuals with behavioral health concerns. This role involves managing a team of clinicians and support staff providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring that clinical practices adhere to established standards and regulations. The supervisor works closely with patients, coordinating treatment plans, assessments, and interventions to promote mental wellness and recovery.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical supervision and guidance to therapists and/or case managers
  • Managing assigned staff caseloads, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring accurate weekly billing and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to ensure appropriate referrals and service connections for clients.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to outpatient services, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new staff, focusing on best practices and clinical knowledge.
  • Stay updated on developments in behavioral health to provide relevant training and resources.

  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License, appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle.
