Wisdom Traditions Counselor Internship Program


Intern to provide supervised mental health care, including individual/group therapy, assessments, and treatment planning, while developing clinical skills. Interns will shadow professionals, handle documentation, assist with crisis intervention, case management, and outreach activities

We provide our interns with a comprehensive experience, which includes opportunities to work in our co-occurring outpatient programs, receive individualized supervision, advance learning to deepen their understanding of a trauma-informed approach to treatment, opportunities to work with our multidisciplinary team of providers, and a methodical approach for managing small caseload assignments and guidance for supervision toward future credentialing. of Spring and Fall Semesters.


A good candidate is someone who has some exposure to working in an agency or clinic, and who is interested in integrative and trauma-informed care.
