Job description

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for our Twin Falls clinic. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support.
Our mission is to support children and those who care for them through collaborative, innovative therapy services. We value compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to helping children reach their potential, and we are seeking individuals who align with our mission and values.
Occupational Therapy Responsibilities:
  • Provide Occupational Therapy services and treatment to clients and initiate referrals in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.
  • Screen and perform regular evaluation of clients to plan, implement, and coordinate treatment plans, conduct specialized evaluations as indicated and adapt treatments to meet the needs and goals of clients and in accordance with physician orders.
  • Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to family and other professionals.
  • Maintain documentation of clients’ assessments, treatment, follow-up, results, and discharge planning or termination of services.
  • Instruct client and family in appropriate occupational therapy procedures or home program to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities, including recommending and obtaining appropriate equipment to improve clients’ occupational needs and instructing clients and family in use of adaptive equipment.
  • Provide in-service education to the members of the client’s care team and education to the community.
  • Attend in-service meetings and facility meetings as required.
  • Record billable treatment times according to Children’s Therapy Place procedures and submits biweekly time sheets.
  • Maintain knowledge of and complying with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
  • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, residents, family members and facility personnel.
  • Adhere to company established confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Project a positive and professional image at all times.

What you’ll bring:
  • A Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • National Credentialing Board certification.
  • Must be licensed in the state of Idaho.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members and other facility personnel.
  • Report to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned work hours.
  • Project a positive and professional image at all times.
  • Must pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
