Position Summary

We are seeking a motivatedAssociate Therapist to join our group practice as a W2 employee. This role will specialize in working with couples and individuals. This position is ideal for pre-licensed therapists who are eager to grow in a supportive, team-based environment while accruing hours toward independent licensure. The Associate Therapist will provide therapy services under supervision, while developing professional and clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy services under clinical supervision.
  • Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and maintain appropriate clinical documentation.
  • Participate in weekly individual and/or group supervision with an approved supervisor.
  • Attend team meetings and monthly CE/professional development sessions.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure client care continuity.
  • Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in client care.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Active Washington State associate license (LMFTA, LMHCA, LSWAIC, or equivalent).
  • Eligible and motivated to work toward full licensure.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and supervision.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain cultural competence.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive W2 compensation.
  • Supervision toward licensure provided (individual and/or group).

Schedule

  • Minimum of 20 hours per week to start.
  • Ramp up to 32 hours per week expected by month three, based on client availability and clinicians capacity.
