Job description

This position is open to candidates local to the South Florida area
ROTA Caregiver
A loving family is seeking an experienced ROTA caregiver to provide support for their young adult daughter. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and experienced in special needs care, ensuring a clean, safe, and structured environment.
Schedule:
ROTA Schedule, 7 days on/7 days off; year round
12-hour care with flexibility based on parents schedule. Overnights and 24/7 care will be required when parents are traveling
Summer travel is required. They have homes in in New England and Colorado, travel on their yacht, and will travel internationally on occasion. Private accommodations are provided in all locations when traveling, but the role is live-out in South Florida.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive and specialized care
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment (including her laundry, changing bedsheets, tidying/ organizing)
  • Assist with bathing and toileting
  • Engage in sensory-friendly activities
  • Driving to activities
  • Cooking meals
  • Travel with the family, or stay with child if parents are away
Requirements:
  • Experience caring for special needs children (ASD)
  • Background in child development, therapy, or special education preferred
  • Reliable, organized, and attentive to details
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel as needed

The family has two dogs in the home. Light pet carewould be required when Principals are away.
