Job description

Toyo Tire North America OE Sales LLC is looking to hire a Sales Assistant I who will support and assist the Toyo Tire North America OE Sales Department by performing various administrative tasks for both tires and auto parts. This role will include order entry, reporting, forecasting, and daily operational functions relating to customer support, invoicing, shipping, purchasing, and inventory. Strong interpersonal communication is required between various Toyo companies and departments as well as with customers and vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Enter customer orders in SAP/ERMS and process pull-in and push-out requests.
• Monitor customer orders from order creation through payment.
• Post customer forecast information on the Microsoft Teams channel and update forecast spreadsheets as needed.
• Perform invoicing in SAP and send invoices to customers.
• Collect information from customer portals and input any required data.
• Monitor inventory levels against customer forecast and notify the manager of any potential issues.
• Enter purchase orders in SAP and update all necessary spreadsheets related to purchasing,
receiving, and billing.
• Perform first check on Freight Forwarder Invoices
• Create debit/credit memos and keep related spreadsheets updated.
• Run various reports and modify them as needed.
• Report EDI issues to the manager and work with the IT department to resolve them.
• Assist the Sr. Manager, Sales Administration with "day-to-day" operational tasks.
• Respond to customer and internal partner requests and questions.

The pay range for this position is up to $21.00 per hour

• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system is preferred but not required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to take direction and follow all company policies and safety guidelines
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or a combination of education and related experience will be considered. A minimum of two (2) years of current experience in customer service, sales support, sales operations or inside sales is needed.
