Job Title: Order Management Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our team and serve as a key point of contact for customers. This position is responsible for processing customer orders, handling inquiries, and supporting day-to-day customer service functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy throughout the order fulfillment process.
Responsibilities
- Enter, verify, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently within the company's order management system.
- Respond to a high volume of customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers with order status requests, product-related questions, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and process service parts orders to support customer needs and business requirements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer orders, communications, and related documentation.
- Work closely with departments such as Operations, Logistics, Accounting, and Customer Service to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
- Research and resolve order discrepancies, shipping concerns, and other issues that may affect customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure customer information and order data are maintained in accordance with company policies and quality standards.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order processing, account support, or a related field.
- Experience handling customer orders, purchase orders, and order management activities.
- Strong data entry and administrative skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or other business management systems.
- Knowledge of logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environments.
- Experience working with both internal teams and external customers.
Work Environment
This position is based in an onsite office setting and works closely with team members in Customer Service and Accounting. The workplace offers a collaborative atmosphere with a business casual dress code. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewis Center, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
