Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Technical Consultant to provide AMS support for Oracle Retail applications supporting enterprise retail operations from 2025–2029. This role requires strong technical and functional expertise across Oracle Retail modules including RMS, ReSA, RPM, and ReIM, along with hands-on scripting and database development experience.

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 11 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide production and AMS support for Oracle Retail applications including RMS, ReSA, RPM, and ReIM
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional application issues
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL programs, shell scripts, Python scripts, and Perl scripts
  • Support batch processing, job monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to implement fixes and enhancements
  • Perform root cause analysis and support system stability initiatives
  • Support deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical and functional experience with Oracle Retail modules: RMS, ReSA, RPM, and ReIM
  • Strong experience with PL/SQL
  • Experience with shell scripting, Python, and Perl
  • Knowledge of Oracle Retail batch processing and support environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of Oracle Retail support experience
  • Experience in AMS or production support environments
  • Retail industry experience preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
