Description

In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for a Supply Technician who will provide day-to-day inventory and material management support in the agency's Washington, DC facility.  Working in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Inventory, this position is responsible for executing cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining accurate item and locator records, and supporting the Government's goal of achieving a 98 percent inventory accuracy rate.  The Supply Technician will also review and validate material requisitions, support item catalog and data quality remediation, and produce recurring inventory accuracy reports and operational extracts that give leadership clear, timely visibility into stock status, discrepancies, backlog, and corrective actions.
Hiring Timeframe: Upcoming
Work Location: This position is a hybrid role in Washington, DC. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA. 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory records and audit trails within Oracle EBS.
  • Review and validate requisitions against inventory requirements, reorder points, lead times, and supplier information.
  • Support procurement package preparation and acquisition processing.
  • Standardize item descriptions, units of measure, and supplier references.
  • Maintain and improve item master records.
  • Identify and correct legacy data quality issues and duplicate records.
  • Produce inventory accuracy reports and operational metrics.
  • Support dashboard and leadership reporting requirements.


Mandatory Qualifications:
 

  • Hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS Inventory operations, including cycle counting, physical inventory reconciliation, and sub-inventory management.
  • Experience performing legacy data remediation, including identifying and resolving stale, duplicate, or invalid records within an enterprise-level Item Master.
  • U.S. citizenship (required for system access).


Desired Qualifications:
 

  • Experience supporting specialized manufacturing components, spare parts management, or similar supply chain environments.
  • Experience with National Stock Number (NSN) management and inventory catalog standardization.
  • Experience supporting inventory modernization, catalog maintenance, and data quality initiatives.
  • Experience supporting federal supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.
