Position : Oracle EBS Supply Chain Technical Analyst
Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 6 Months
Job Description:
This technical position is responsible for the development and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.1.3 application extensions. Activities of this role include production support, developing, remediating, unit and integration testing the customizations in release 12. This role is also responsible for working with business customers, understanding their processes, assisting in testing and defect remediation.
  • Involved in various activities including requirement specifications, development, testing, configuration setup, implementation, support and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution system (MPDV Hydra MES) across multiple plants/products/line.
  • Expertise of integrated processes surrounding line scheduling, bill of materials, production orders, product costing, scrap/yield reporting, production planning/scheduling, inventory management, quality management, and quality data collection.
  • Experience in integration and interfacing of MES systems with shop floor(PLC) and Oracle ERP involving various oracle modules like Oracle Inventory, BOM, Routing, Order Management, Shipping, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), and Cost Management.
  • Worked on application issue resolution and system interface troubleshooting of both software and hardware problems, reporting and tracking feature defects for continuous improvement of the manufacturing execution system.
  • Worked on master data creation and database configuration for integration of both Oracle and MES.
  • Perform and/or oversee promotion of configuration/ development changes through environment (i.e., write functional specifications, create test plans/scripts, perform and/or coordinate testing with plant personnel and/or development team, and retain supporting documentation in adherence with project life cycle compliance.
  • This role is 70% technical around creating PL/SQL interfaces between MPDV and these modules and 30% functional understanding for these modules.
