Position Responsibilities:In this position, you'll be responsible for evaluating new patients, developing plans of care, and setting measurable, functional goals. You'll treat patients, address their concerns, and provide education on injuries and conditions, progress to reaching desired goals, and probable outcomes. Additionally, you'll monitor patient response to treatment and intervention, modifying as necessary, to meet the needs of the patient and attain goals in accordance with treatment plans and physician orders. In this role, you'll be able to consult directly with treating physicians and cultivate effective relationships with referral providers. You'll be responsible for documenting patient evaluations, re-evaluations, daily progress reports, treatments, and discharges of services in a timely manner, accurately recording billable services. As a member of our Physical Therapy team, you'll provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with PT guidelines for professional practices and per ORA clinical policies and standards.Requirements:This position requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, as well as a current, unencumbered, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa. We would prefer previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience; however, new graduates are always welcome. A successful candidate will have knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, as well as the ability to identify and implement components of physical therapy processes. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills as well as the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately.
