Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee)
Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee) Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + Full Benefits + Company Vehicle Training provided to earn State Certificate of Competency & National Board "A" Endorsement
Our client is hiring a Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector to support customers throughout the region. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent benefits, paid time off, and a company-provided vehicle. Candidates with experience in boilers, pressure vessels, welding, NDT/NDI, or Navy nuclear operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
You will perform field-based inspections that ensure the quality, safety, and code compliance of pressure equipment during fabrication, erection, and repair. Your work supports the earliest stages of the equipment lifecycle and plays a critical role in protecting people, facilities, and operations across industrial, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and accepting job packages
  • Performing in-process inspections
  • Monitoring contractor quality-control systems
  • Witnessing hydrostatic tests
  • Reviewing and signing required documentation
  • Communicating professionally with clients and contractors
