An operations processor monitors and reconciles customer accounts for a financial institution. As an operations processor, your responsibilities are to analyze internal activities on customer accounts, such as payments, transfers, and other transactions, and flag any suspicious activity that could indicate fraud or money laundering. Your job duties include handling account review, account reconciliation, transfer requests, and transaction verification. If you work in a corporate office setting, much of your work will be independent at your computer terminal. In a retail branch setting, you may assist bank tellers when customers have questions or problems about their internal account activity.
