Job description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage designated facilities operations, inventory control, vendor management, and procurement activities. This role requires a strong operational leader who can manage performance, ensure high service levels, enforce SOPs, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
The responsibilities of the position include:
  • Work cross-functionally with logistics, finance, sales, and leadership teams to support operational planning and business objectives.
  • Investigate and implement corrective plans to address operational issues involving inventory discrepancies, receiving errors, shipping delays, and fulfillment problems.
  • Partner with Finance and Customer Service teams to resolve AR/AP issues, cost penalties, and disputes arising from operational activities.
  • Lead designated facilities operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution.
  • Manage performance and maintain a high-standard, safety-driven work environment.
  • Enforce SOPs, metrics gathering, safety standards, and company policies to ensure consistent and compliant warehouse processes.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, machinery and equipment, and services; evaluate and onboard new suppliers as business needs evolve.
  • Lead vendor negotiations - including pricing, service terms, repair/maintenance agreements, and equipment acquisition - and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate maintenance and service schedules, ensuring vendor accountability and timely completion of work.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, project management, or supply-chain management; experience in procurement strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in supervising and developing teams.
  • Strong understanding of workflows, inventory control, receiving/shipping processes, and WMS best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational abilities.
