Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for delivering guidance, technical support, and task coordination for Field Personnel as assigned. This leader will monitor operations performance and technical aspects of the water only and water-ice refill stations to create a safe and efficient work environment. Demonstrates good communication skills to keep employees notified of company priorities and initiatives. Every Watermill Express employee is expected to perform his or her job in a professional manner to provide the best possible service to our customers. This includes following all policies, procedures, job duties and the company's This is a salaried exempt position at $60,000 annually.

Duties And Responsibilities

Follow safety guidelines and model safe behavior. Perform supervisory duties for all assigned personnel. Maintain a station maintenance program which ensures the company's quality standards are met. Participate in and/or oversee collection procedures in compliance with the Company's Cash Collection, Cash Management Procedure. Assist with various marketing programs including replacing signage, banners, decals. Ensure market revenue performance by operating within maintenance, repair, and controllable expense budgets. Keep a positive attitude when interacting with customers. Maintain a professional appearance (clean uniform and vehicle). Complete routine service and maintenance on company vehicles. Oversee vehicle organization, maintenance, and cleanliness. Maintain communication by cell phone if service issue or emergency arises. Lead technical operations within the market. Function as the subject matter expert to assist in resolving high-level technical issues with our water only and water-ice refill stations. Requires evening and/or weekend response. Evaluate employee performance and/or identify technical and performance training opportunities to ensure company standards are met. Communicate employee successes, opportunities for improvement, sales trends, ideas, competitive information, and concerns to continually improve market performance. Ensure the market employees follow all safety protocols. Support District Manager or Regional Operations Manager as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Strong leadership and team building skills Ability to balance hands-on with oversight duties Well-developed written and oral communication skills Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Team player with positive attitude Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Intermediate electrical, maintenance or similar skills preferred Ability to operate standard office equipment Clean motor vehicle record with a valid driver license Ability to work required schedule and to work on-call for rotating weekends and evenings

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Capable of climbing ladders, walking, standing, stooping and bending Able to work safely in limited space inside water and water-ice refill stations Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle

Education, Experience, And Certificates

High school diploma or equivalent Electrical, maintenance, repair, or similar education or equivalent experience preferred Three years supervisory/management experience preferred
