Job description

Operations Assistant (Contract) Location: Spring, TX Schedule: Hybrid Pay Rate: $22-25/hr Duration: Approximately 2.5 months Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Assistant to join the group on a short-term contract basis. This role will provide operational, administrative, and project support to the department, helping ensure the successful coordination of day-to-day activities and project-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operational activities and support short- and long-term projects.
  • Collaborate with country coordinators and support overseas project activities as needed.
  • Prepare and submit client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable activity and provide regular updates to Project Managers.
  • Prepare and submit accounts payable documentation.
  • Maintain and update subcontractor databases and records.
  • Monitor and manage the subcontractor payable email inbox.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to support project success.
  • Create, organize, and maintain project and departmental files.
  • Perform routine data searches and maintain electronic project backups.
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical support functions.
  • Maintain inventory levels of PPE, equipment, and office supplies.
  • Support additional departmental and project-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 0–5 years of related administrative, operations, project coordination, or support experience.
  • Previous experience in a technical, engineering, construction, or related industry is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
