Job description

The Role

At GiftTree, we don’t just ship boxes; we deliver moments of connection. As our Operations Manager, you are the conductor of our fulfillment engine. You will oversee the end-to-end journey of our premium gift baskets—from the moment raw inventory arrives to the second a perfectly hand-tied ribbon leaves our dock. You will lead a diverse team, optimize complex workflows, and ensure that our "GiftTree Standard" is met during our quietest days and our busiest holiday rushes.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement lean fulfillment processes to increase "baskets-per-hour" while maintaining 100% accuracy and aesthetic quality.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a core team of production leads and warehouse associates. You will lead the charge in scaling our workforce from 50 to 200+ during peak gifting seasons.
  • Partner with the buying team to ensure stock levels of gourmet foods, fine wines, and custom crates are optimized to prevent out-of-stock issues or waste.
  • Own the "final look" protocol. You’ll ensure every personalization (engraving, embossing, silk-screening) and assembly meets our luxury brand guidelines.
  • Oversee relationships with FedEx, UPS, and local floral partners to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective shipping rates.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe "dog-friendly" warehouse environment that adheres to all OSHA standards.

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of experience in operations or warehouse management, ideally within e-commerce, luxury retail, or food/beverage.
  • You have successfully managed the "Peak Season" chaos before. You know how to ramp up staffing and production without breaking the culture.
  • You live in your CRM and ERP. You use KPIs to identify bottlenecks before they become backlogs.
  • You understand that in our business, the presentation is the product. You have a high standard for detail.
  • You can speak the language of the warehouse floor just as well as you can present a quarterly efficiency report to executive leadership.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $90k–$115k (commensurate with experience).
  • Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus tied to operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) matching.
  • The Environment: A fast-paced, supportive, and creative onsite culture (and yes, we are dog-friendly!).
  • Employee Discount: Generous discounts on all GiftTree products for your own gifting needs.
