As the Operations Manager, you will take the needed initiative to perform all management functions for your specific location. You will work alongside the inside sales, outside sales and warehouse team to run the location smoothly while making a profit for the branch. You will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversees logistics, purchasing, warehouse, inside sales/customer service, safety, and inventory.
  • Utilizes ERP software to monitor and ensure branch success.
  • Hires and trains new employees to meet the needs of a growing branch.
  • Manages the day-to-day branch workflow.
  • Schedules employee work hours in accordance with branch goals and objectives.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and ย logistics to ensure successful production operations.
  • Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.
  • Coordinates with sales department to determine pricing, timing, and number of sales promotions, and products to be sold.
  • Assists with, or prepares and updates, organization's operations manual and policies.
  • Leads the safety culture with a "lead by example" attitude
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • This position will report to the Regional Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Three years of related experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, Industrial, and HVAC insulation products
  • Knowledge of steep and low slope roofing
  • Prolonged ย periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be ย able to access and navigate the production facility.
