Job Title: DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer oversees the development of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based data architecture. This role bridges business needs with technical implementation, ensuring that data pipelines, storage systems, and analytics platforms align with organizational goals. Additionally, this role prioritizes projects and collaborates with other departments to maximize the impact of data solutions.

Job Responsibilities

· Administer and optimize Linux-based systems in cloud and on-prem environments.

· Automate end-to-end deployment workflows for applications and infrastructure.

· Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

· Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS), managing: Namespace isolation, resource quotas, and network policies

· Helm-based service deployments

· Cluster scaling and lifecycle management

· Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

· Architect and automate cloud-agnostic infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.

· Enforce cloud and infrastructure security best practices, including vulnerability identification and patch automation.

· Troubleshoot issues spanning networking, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.

· Experience in Linux system administration with automation expertise.

· Proven experience automating application and infrastructure deployments.

· Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or equivalent.

· Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).

· Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Helm, Terraform, Crossplane, or Ansible).

· Solid grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).

· Experience integrating automated deployments into CI/CD pipelines.

· Awareness of DevSecOps and proactive infrastructure security practices.

Nice to Have:

· Experience with multi-tenant and hybrid cloud setups

· Familiarity with advanced troubleshooting of distributed systems.

· Knowledge of event-driven architectures or microservices deployment.
