Job Summary

The Fleet Development Manager drives flyExclusive's continued fleet growth by originating and advancing aircraft acquisition, leaseback, and managed-aircraft opportunities—with particular emphasis on the large-cabin segment. This is a high-energy, execution-focused business development role responsible for building a pipeline of prospective aircraft owners, nurturing broker and industry relationships, and helping move deals from first conversation to close. The ideal candidate understands private aviation and aircraft ownership economics, is comfortable engaging high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and thrives on proactive outreach in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source new aircraft acquisition and managed aircraft opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, and market research
  • Conduct cold outreach to aircraft owners, brokers, and industry contacts
  • Identify and qualify prospective owners aligned with flyExclusive’s fleet strategy
  • Support growth initiatives focused on large-cabin aircraft
  • Assist in managing ongoing relationships with aircraft owners, prospects, and select partners
  • Support senior leadership in maintaining strong owner and partner relationships without creating additional friction or overhead
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, financial summaries, and presentation materials
  • Mine CRM data to identify warm leads, re-engage dormant prospects, and track outreach efforts
  • Collaborate with internal marketing resources to support targeted campaigns and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the private aviation industry, aircraft ownership models, or adjacent luxury asset markets
  • Comfort engaging with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals
  • Proven ability to initiate conversations, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, relationship-driven environment
  • High motivation, strong work ethic, and self-starter mentality
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management within aviation, yachting, luxury assets, or financial services
  • Familiarity with aircraft management, leasing, or brokerage concepts
  • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)

 Key Skills

  • Energetic, proactive, and resilient
  • Commercially minded with a strong sense of ownership
  • Being a self-starter who is highly motivated with strong initiative
  • Interpersonal skills with an emphasis on strong communication skills in both oral and written forms
  • Effective time management
  • Organized and detail-oriented without getting lost in process
  • Focus on excellence
  • Professionalism in hard conversations
  • Selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Great relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Ability to meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
