    As you onboard clients sourced from your pipeline, you willinitiallymanage theirbusiness relationshipwith The Perfumeryto ensure a positive and smoothonboard and growth phase.This includes dedication to all aspects of the customer experience. Our clients have come to expect that they will be treated as an asset to our business regardless of how much or how little they order. As anaccountmanager, you will grow, upsell, and manage sales accountsin the first year oftheirrelationship with usto ensure all client needs are met quickly and professionally.After theinitialonboarding phase for new clients, the Business Development Managerwill also helpassistthe transition of landed clients to our client support team for ongoing management and support.
  • Order Management:As a part of our commitment to excellent customer service, aportionof your role will consistinmanagingorders from your clientsto ensure accuracy andsuccessoftheorder. This includes order entryand annotations in our system and CRM, answering customer inquiries on order status, and working with our production team to ensure ordercompletion and shipment. Candidate Requirements/Preferences

  • Minimum of5years inB2Bsales. Experience selling withinthe generalEssential Oils and Aromatherapy/Fragrancefields is a plus, but notrequired
  • Bachelor's degree in business, business management, or similar fieldrequired
  • Ability to provide examples ofkey account managementdealingwiththe growth of mid tohigh-volumeaccounts
  • Experience with Office 365 applicationsrequired
  • Experience with an ERP system preferred
  • Experience with a CRM system required
  • Proven experience in successfully building revenueacross a multi-state territory
  • Successful experience self-directing and proactive in achieving strategiesand goals
  • Ability toefficientlymultitaskwithhighlydetailed work
  • Ability toeffectivelycollaborate and communicatecross functionally
  • Operate with a high degree of urgency,integrity, and positive demeanor


Travel


All applicantsshould be able and willing to travel as neededto achieve the goals of the business. Travel will consist of meetings with the following: key potential partners in the U.S. and Canada, private equity managing partners or deal team members, key industry conferences, and other opportunities that may arise.It isanticipatedthattravel of up to 25% may berequired.
