As part of the Miami Technical Operations Team, you will be involved in supporting simulator technicians and engineers with part ordering, inventory management, and routine maintenance tasks aiming at achieving 99% training equipment reliability and ensuring safe, seamless flight training operations.

Meet the Team

Our Flight Simulator Engineers collaborate with a diverse team of simulator manufacturers, simulator technicians, and training instructors to ensure operational and reliability goals are met on a wide variety of flight simulator equipment used for training by global airlines.

The custom-designed, 110,000-square-foot complex trains more than 2,000 cadets each year in a range of (six) full-flight simulators, innovative computer-based training classrooms, and cabin door and slide trainers - all simulating the A320, A330, A340, and A350 XWB families of aircraft. In Miami, you'll also find the Airbus Latin America headquarters, where a team of 60 employees provides sales, marketing, contracts, customer support, and communications across commercial aircraft, helicopters, and space & defense divisions.

  • Maintenance & Operations Support: Assist flight simulator technicians and engineers in executing preventive and corrective maintenance on flight simulator equipment to safely return training devices to service.

  • Logistics & Inventory Management: Support overall logistics operations, including part ordering, stock control, inventory tracking, and component staging.

  • 24/7 Operations Response: Operate flexibly in a round-the-clock maintenance environment, answering customer service calls, responding to AOG (Aircraft On Ground / Device Down) events, and making swift operational decisions.

  • Communication & Escalation: Keep customers and Technical Leads informed of maintenance statuses and estimated repair times, escalating critical issues to Duty Officers or Managers when required.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor daily operational processes and provide constructive feedback to continuously elevate safety, efficiency, and training satisfaction.

Your Boarding Pass
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing electronic systems, aircraft avionics, computers, or related technical systems down to the component level.

  • Education: Preferred Associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation, or a related discipline (a combination of equivalent experience and education will also be considered).

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in commercial jet aircraft systems preventive and corrective maintenance repair.

  • Citizenship & Eligibility: U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Mindset & Adaptability: Passion for learning changing technologies, customer-focused attitude, and strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, stand for long periods, and work/move within cramped spaces.

  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, in a 24/7 operational environment.

  • Travel Required: 0% (Domestic and International).
