Job description

Manufacturing Floor Operations Associate (Job ID: 2445)

Location: Pewaukee, WI 53072

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM (Fridays off)

Pay: $18–$19 per hour

A day in this role

You’ll kick off your shift with a safety huddle, then rotate through hands-on tasks that keep production moving. One hour you might deburr freshly made components, the next you’re tending a machine or preparing packaging so finished parts ship on time. You’ll help with rework to meet tight specs, support the warehouse with material handling, and keep the shop organized and clean—all while maintaining sharp attention to quality and safety.

What you’ll handle
  • Deburr, clean, and finish manufactured parts to spec
  • Rework parts to meet quality requirements
  • Tend machines and assist operators as directed
  • Stage and prepare packaging for upcoming work orders
  • Package completed parts per customer and work center guidelines
  • Assist with warehouse tasks and material movement
  • Perform facility housekeeping; keep tools and areas orderly
  • Care for equipment and tools; operate shop equipment safely (forklifts, overhead cranes, micrometers, calipers)
  • Complete inventory tasks including cycle counts and annual physical inventory
  • Support building/departmental maintenance assignments
  • Identify and report safety concerns promptly; follow all safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned to support production and customer needs
What you bring
  • Manufacturing experience is required
  • Proven work history showing reliability and longevity
  • Comfort working with a variety of manufacturing machines
  • Ability to visually and manually inspect materials and judge acceptable quality
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Team-first mindset and clear verbal communication, especially for safety directions
Physical demands and environment
  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; heavier items with assistance
  • Manual material handling including reaching above shoulder level, climbing/balancing, and stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling
  • Stand and move throughout the shift in a manufacturing setting
Preferred extras
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation
  • Familiarity with micrometers and calipers
  • Inventory or warehouse support background
