Job description

GO Riteway Transportation is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Operations Professional to manage our commercial services operation. This manager will need to have a strong background in customer or client service, as well as management, but does not need to come from a transportation background. Strengths in logistics and operations are a plus!
The manager will have onsite responsibility for administrative and operational activities in the Commercial Charter Division; including recruiting, managing dispatchers, porters, and drivers, and overseeing the commercial vehicle fleet.
Compliance and safety regarding DOT regulations are important aspects of this role and the manager will be responsible for establishing and developing strategies that contribute to safe, on-time, and consistent service to all charter customers.
The position is responsible for ensuring the business runs efficiently and profitably. The manager will work closely with the sales team to understand and deliver on customer expectations.
KEY RESULT DUTIES
  • Operational Duties such as hiring drivers and dispatching staff, implement booking software, and develop driver meetings and trainings

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of management experience in a relatable customer service industry preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills required. Candidates for this role should be able to think on their feet and make decisions quickly.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to analyze and make a business case for all recommendations. Supports and empowers team. Highly computer literate.
  • Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL license with Passenger endorsement.
