Job description

The Role

We are currently seeking a Workplace Operations Assistant in our Midtown NYC office to help create a warm, welcoming, and well-run workplace experience. In this role, you will handle day-to-day front desk reception, process administrative requests, and maintain an organized, polished office environment. This is a full time, onsite position required to be in the office 5 days a week.

A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $40,000 - $62,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.ย

What You'll Do
  • Maintain reception desk coverage and assist with visitor management, workplace tickets, and employee requests
  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day administrative operations of the office
  • Manage inventory and restocking for all workplace supplies, consumables, and pantry items
  • Support general office upkeep and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment across all shared spaces
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package deliveries
  • Assist with in-office events, company meetings, catering setups, and culture activities
  • Coordinate with local vendors as required
  • Partner with the broader Workplace Operations team to help ensure the office runs smoothly every day
Who You Are
  • High school diploma required
  • 1-2 years of experience in office administration, workplace operations, front-desk reception, facilities, or corporate hospitality environments
  • Punctuality and the ability to be in-office five days a week
  • Have strong attention to detail and notice the little things that make a space feel polished and prepared
  • Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once
  • Are comfortable using tools like Google Calendar, Slack, visitor management systems, or similar workplace tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
