Operations Assistant:
The Operations Assistant will help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the school, support a myriad of office tasks and work diligently under the supervision of the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention for detail, be highly organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, maintain confidentiality, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize office and assist staff in ways that optimize procedures.
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments.
  • Monitor level of supplies.
  • Resolve office related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Provide general support to visitors and callers.
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed.
  • Making copies and distributing materials to classes or students.
  • Supporting after-school and family events, as necessary.
  • Maintaining student files.
  • Maintaining storage and supply areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Operations/Office Assistant or similar administrative role required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) required.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (Xerox, Phones, Fax Machines, etc.) required.
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem solving required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required

  • Starting Salary $47,741.
