This Part-Time role supports the successful execution of auctions and daily site operations. Crew Members work across a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to equipment handling, customer service, driving, site upkeep, and auction-day support. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and customer experience while performing duties that ensure our auctions run smoothly and professionally.

About the team - Yard Operations 

We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction - from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

  • Valid driver's license (class requirements may vary by location/role).
  • Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and following procedures.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate light/heavy equipment (training provided).
  • Customer service skills with a professional, approachable demeanor.
  • Willingness to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during auction periods.
  • Previous experience in yard operations, equipment handling, or auction environments.
  • Knowledge of farming, construction, or industrial equipment.
  • Certification in First Aid, Loader Operation, or other relevant safety training.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, service industry).
  • Support auction yard operations by checking in, staging, tagging, and releasing equipment.
  • Safely operate light and heavy equipment, following company standards and certifications.
  • Assist customers on-site and provide sale-day support such as shuttle driving, cart driving, or customer service.
  • Maintain site cleanliness, perform janitorial and groundskeeping tasks, and operate support vehicles like water trucks.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times while reporting hazards promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with yard management, operations staff, and the inspection team to deliver seamless auction events.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement while upholding company values and delivering excellent customer experiences.
