Job Description

7 + years' experience in software QA and/or development, with experience working on 3 or more projects from requirements inception to product release.
3+ years of experience as a Project Management or Test Coordinator
o Ensure that ambiguity reviews, test plans, and scripts are complete and accurate and that testing is executed on-time and within budget.
o Ensure that testing is performed in a consistent and traceable manner.
o Ability to work in cross-functional teams across multiple levels of the organization.
o Understand existing test bed (if any), understand the new requirements and specifications
o Determine complete scope, complexity and size of testing effort, possibly assign work out to subordinate testers, develop and execute test cases
o Ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards
o Report on QA status to the project team and upper management. 
Proven success in testing large scale, multi-tiered, integrated systems.
Experienced with Mercury Test Management tools (Quality Center, Test Director) and Rational ClearQuest Defect Tracking tool, or similar defect tracking tools

Experience with real-time web services and batch feed testing.
Experience with testing web-based and mainframe applications and testing environments
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. 
Strong analytical & organizational skills.
Familiarity with testing automation tools
Demonstrate follow-through on tracking/resolving application and environmental issues discovered during testing. 
Ability to document all phases of QA process. 
Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. 
Proven track record in recommending and implementation of QA best practices. 
Experience in the use of HP Quality Center tool as support of the QA process. 
Experience working with offshore teams a plus
