Your Role:EngineeringIntern-Clinton, Indiana(Summer 2027)

As a Summer 2027EngineeringIntern with Elanco Animal Health,you will be part of the Engineering teamat ourClinton, Indianamanufacturing plant, contributing to a hands-on technical project focused on improving processes, solving business challenges, and supporting operational excellence.Interns will have exposure to many career paths and diverse subject matter experts as many projects have site-wide impact.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Understand the manufacturing environment and how to collaborate with different stakeholders to solve problems

  • Work within cross-functional teams to build vendor relationships and new process capability implementation

  • Data visualization tool creation/usage and documentation updates

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education:Currently enrolled in an Engineering major including (but not limited to) Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical,Biomedical, or Biological.

  • TopSkills:Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Have an interest in using data to solve problems, improving processes,or working in manufacturing

  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision

  • Travel:10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing
