Our BDC Representative is the first person our customers speak to whether it is online / Text messaging or by phone. BDC Representatives are responsible for handling incoming phone calls and internet requests as well as scheduling appointments. We are looking for candidates who have a professional voice and are sympathetic to the customer's needs. This is a great career opportunity for applicants with automotive experience, or any other customer service/telephone contact experience.ย
$50,000-$80,000/year based upon experience

BDC Responsibilities include:ย
- Answering all incoming calls to the department and scheduling appointmentsย
- Answering all internet inquiries to facilitate appointments into the dealershipย
- Making phone calls to customers after they have visited the showroom to find out about their experienceย
- Helps customers with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products, and services via phone, email, text, or chatย
- Maintains accurate sales documentation in CRMย
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotionsย
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as requiredย
- Performs other duties as assignedย
BDC Qualifications:ย
- Must have a clear, articulate, and pleasant speaking voiceย
- Must be a self-starterย ย
- Customer service and/or telephone contact experienceย
- Must be dependable and report to work every day on timeย
- Must be friendly and upbeat and like talking on the phone helping people find answers to their questionsย
- Must be able to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mailย
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-taskย
- Excellent bilingual communication skills a plus (writing and speaking)ย
- Excellent follow-up skillsย
- Dependable and compliant in following assigned work schedule, which will include evening and Saturday hoursย
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and othersย
- Must be a "people person" but still know how to control the conversationย
- Professional appearance and demeanorย
- Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on timeย
- Excellent telephone skillsย
- Proficient computer and internet skillsย
- Sales experience a plus (any industry)ย
