A Blue Heron Online Sales Counselor combines exceptional phone and email communication skills with strong lead management discipline, digital marketing awareness, and an appreciation for luxury design and new home construction. This key in-office role qualifies and nurtures prospective homeowners, helps identify the best Blue Heron community or product fit, and partners closely with the onsite sales team to support a seamless client journey.


How the Role Contributes

Deliver an Exceptional Online Client Experience

  • Respond immediately and professionally to all email, phone, web, sales line, and voicemail inquiries.
  • Create a welcoming, elevated first impression for prospective clients that reflects the sophistication and values of the Blue Heron brand.
  • Qualify online prospects by understanding their lifestyle goals, community interests, timing, and readiness to engage with the onsite sales team.
  • Provide clear information, marketing materials, and community guidance that help prospects move confidently through the discovery process.
  • Set qualified appointments with onsite Sales Counselors and ensure each handoff is thoughtful, complete, and aligned with client expectations.

Drive Lead Engagement & Sales Growth

  • Independently manage and nurture a high-volume online lead pipeline, including approximately 150-250 leads per month.
  • Utilize proven sales strategies, email campaigns, phone outreach, and digital communication tools to convert online inquiries into sales-ready appointments.
  • Maintain strong lead conversion performance through proactive communication, disciplined follow-up, and personalized prospect engagement.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support campaigns, improve online lead quality, and increase traffic to Blue Heron communities and product lines.
  • Clearly communicate Blue Heron's unique value proposition while monitoring competitive online activity to strengthen lead generation and client engagement.

Champion Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate and timely lead and prospect information within the CRM and lead management platforms.
  • Track, report, and analyze lead activity, appointment conversion, and sales conversion ratios to support sales strategy and accountability.
  • Manage ongoing email campaigns and follow-up sequences that keep prospects informed and engaged.
  • Partner closely with onsite sales teams to ensure qualified leads are delivered with complete background, needs, and next-step information.
  • Stay current on Blue Heron products, communities, floorplans, homesites, design processes, financing resources, and available inventory while supporting additional sales and marketing responsibilities as needed.


Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Nevada Real Estate License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of real estate experience, preferably in luxury real estate, custom homes, or new home construction.
  • Marketing or online lead generation experience preferred.
  • Proven email and phone communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems, lead management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, search engines, and online marketing channels.
  • Customer-focused, personable, highly responsive, and committed to a client-first experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, follow-up, and time management skills.
  • Self-directed and able to maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced office environment with nominal supervision.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track lead activity and conversion performance; motivated by sales results and commission opportunity.
  • Availability to support sales events, appointments, and occasional weekend needs as required.
