Guides students through creating precise curves, building complex surfaces, using Boolean operations, developing parametric designs with Grasshopper, and preparing files for 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser cutting. Emphasizes precision in surface modeling and connects Rhino to architectural design, product development, and digital fabrication.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with Rhino and Grasshopper curricula and common challenges such as understanding NURBS surface continuity, learning Grasshopper node logic, and achieving watertight models for fabrication. Adapts instruction using step-by-step modeling tutorials, Grasshopper algorithm exercises, and fabrication projects to support students from Rhino beginners through advanced computational designers in architecture and industrial design programs.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
