Job Summary
The Power Pages Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and user-friendly web portals using Microsoft Power Pages with JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL. This role builds external-facing and internal web experiences integrated with Dataverse, APIs, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise data sources, functioning in a web developer capacity supporting enterprise web applications in a fast-paced Agile environment. The Power Pages Developer leverages Microsoft Power Platform tools - including Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents - to deliver responsive, data-driven portal solutions. This position collaborates with business analysts, UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions while providing advanced technical and functional support to development teams and end users in support of system integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
Education & Experience
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of web-based application development and support experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with: - Power Apps / Power Platform technologies - JavaScript - jQuery - HTML and CSS - SQL, API data integrations, and JSON
• Hands-on experience developing or customizing Power Pages (Power Apps Portals).
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.
Preferred:
• 3+ years of Power Platform development experience.
• Experience working with REST APIs, SOA, and web services.
• Familiarity with integrations involving Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and external APIs.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Experience configuring authentication and authorization using Azure AD B2C or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience improving solution performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience refactoring code to improve reuse and efficiency.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and Jira stories.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred.
• Experience with Azure services and Logic Apps.
• Familiarity with Power Platform ALM and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and customize web portals using Power Pages integrated with Dataverse and enterprise systems.
• Build secure, role-based access for internal and external users.
• Design responsive and accessible portal user experiences.
• Develop custom portal functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Liquid templates.
• Configure authentication and authorization using Azure AD B2C, Microsoft Entra ID, or other identity providers.
• Implement business logic using Power Automate, Power Fx, and custom APIs.
• Integrate portals with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and REST-based services.
• Optimize portal performance and ensure data security and privacy.
• Troubleshoot portal and integration issues and support ongoing maintenance.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation, user instructions, and training materials.
• Evaluate vendor upgrades and assist with platform updates and migrations.
• Support testing, deployments, and change control processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members when needed.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and production support activities.
