An On Call Interpreter provides language interpretation services as needed, often on short notice, to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages. They may work in medical, legal, business, or community settings, interpreting conversations in real time. This role requires fluency in at least two languages, strong listening skills, and cultural awareness. On Call Interpreters may work remotely or in person, depending on the organization's needs.
