Job description

The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for providing professional food and beverage service during banquets, meetings, and special events while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is on-call only, with schedules determined by business demands. Employees are required to maintain at least one (1) eight-hour period of availability each week for potential on-call assignments, though no weekly hours are guaranteed.

Company:Cherokee Nation Entertainment

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of banquet serving experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Card.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued alcohol beverage license, if required.
  • Ability to complete required alcohol awareness training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and maintain at least one (1) eight-hour period of weekly availability for on-call assignments.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to banquet guests.
  • Set up, serve, and clear banquet tables throughout events.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification.
  • Perform pre-bussing and maintain clean dining and service areas.
  • Process guest payments when applicable.
  • Assist with banquet setup, breakdown, and other event-related duties as assigned.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while working as part of a team.
