Job description

Position Summary: Sr. Manager, Omni-Channel Services

The Sr. Manager, Services Marketing, reporting to the VP of Omnichannel Marketing, will lead the marketing strategy and execution for Guitar Center's core services, including Financing, Pro Coverage, Rentals, Repairs, and Lessons.

This role will be responsible for increasing awareness, adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue across the services portfolio. Lessons will be a significant area of focus, requiring close partnership with Marketing, Store Operations, CRM, Digital, Creative, Media, Analytics, and Services leadership to drive enrollment and strengthen its role in the customer journey.

The Sr. Manager will also contribute to broader campaign ideation and support partnerships, sponsorships, competitions, brand-building, and culture-driving initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing strategy and activation plans for Financing, Pro Coverage, Rentals, Repairs, and Lessons.
  • Develop clear customer value propositions, messaging, channel plans, timelines, and measurement frameworks.
  • Lead integrated marketing programs that drive service awareness, adoption, retention, revenue, and customer lifetime value.
  • Build and execute marketing strategies for Lessons focused on enrollment, engagement, retention, and local store activation.
  • Partner with CRM, Digital, Media, Creative, Store Operations, Services, and Analytics teams to activate programs across customer touchpoints.
  • Integrate services into relevant product, promotional, lifecycle, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Support campaign ideation and broader integrated marketing planning without serving as the primary campaign lead.
  • Support partnerships, sponsorships, competitions, contests, and promotional activations.
  • Contribute to brand-building and culture-driving initiatives that strengthen Guitar Center's connection with musicians and local communities.
  • Manage program timelines, deliverables, performance reporting, and post-campaign learnings.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in services marketing, integrated marketing, brand marketing, omnichannel marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience marketing services, memberships, protection plans, education, rentals, repairs, financing, or similar customer solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex offerings into clear customer-facing marketing programs.
  • Experience developing integrated plans across digital, CRM, media, social, creative, retail, and local marketing channels.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership experience across Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Finance, and Store teams.
  • Experience supporting partnerships, sponsorships, competitions, or promotional activations preferred.
  • Retail, eCommerce, music, lifestyle, education, or consumer services experience preferred.

Pay Rate:$135,000 - $150,000/yr depending on background and experience.

This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
