Job Description

The Loan Coordination Specialist III supports relationship managers and clients in the closing of the commercial loans ensuring all commercial lending steps flow effectively and efficiently. The LCS III has a comprehensive understanding of role and work is completed with limited review and guidance from LCS IV and Supervisor. Range of customers supported is broader than LCS II and work is moderately complex to complex.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You'll order, obtain, and analyze all pertinent applicant/borrower and property or collateral documentation and verifications related to the processing of loan transactions.
  • You'll review credit approvals to determine loan terms, and verify equity, financial elements, and borrow structure, with oversight from LCS IV or Supervisor.
  • You'll review and approve counsel-prepared or internally-prepared loan documents to ensure credit approval terms and bank policies are accurately incorporated.
  • You'll analyze, review and structure commercial loan documentation, supporting documentation, and due diligence, to ensure that all loan documents are complete and accurate and communicate with lenders, Client Relationship Specialists, Credit Services, and attorneys to remediate identified discrepancies.
  • You'll schedule and facilitate loan closings, including working and communicating with customers, relationship managers, Client Relationship Specialists, appraisers, attorneys, title company personnel, and various other vendors to close various type of commercial loan in a timely manner, with review from LCS IV or Supervisor, as necessary.
  • You'll manage and initiate loan funding wires and initial disbursements of new closing proceeds while ensuring loan requirements are properly documented, and conditions are met before funding with limited review from LCS IV or Supervisor.
Education & Experience Requirements

Required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree and 4 years' experience in a banking or customer service environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Well-developed understanding of:
  • Lending practices and policies
  • Loan documentation requirements and regulations
  • Deposit, loan, and investment systems for report generation and information gathering purposes
  • Commercial credit analysis
  • Loan documentation and lien perfection requirements
  • Litigation processes under county, state, and Federal systems
  • Thorough knowledge of BOKF Commercial loan processes and workflows
  • Solid Excel and Word experience
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF
  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies in order to identify common themes and solutions
  • Ability to effectively plan time, method, manner and sequence of own work assignments
