Job description

Large National law firm located in downtown Tampa is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to assist Attorneys across a broad range of active litigation matters. We are looking for detail-oriented professionals who bring a minimum of 5 years litigation support experience. The position manages an active docket and serves as an operational resource for case management, court filings and trial preparation.


Experience required in:


  • Prepare, format, revise and finalize documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery request and responses and subpoenas.
  • State and federal court electronic and physical filings.
  • Maintain and track litigation deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain case files.
  • Manage attorney time entries, scheduling depositions and hearings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Support trial preparation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of materials for hearings and mediations.

Must have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and document management systems. Also, needs to be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-moving litigation team.
