Commercial Sales Manager - Oilfield
Location: Houston, TX or Midland, TX

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Sales Manager - Oilfield to drive revenue growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and expand our presence across upstream oilfield operations.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute sales strategies supporting drilling, completions, and production operations within assigned territories.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with E&P operators, drilling contractors, pressure pumping companies, and other upstream service providers.
  • Grow existing accounts by expanding product and service utilization across rigs, frac fleets, well pads, and producing assets.
  • Build strong relationships with operations, supply chain, and field leadership to understand customer needs and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements while maintaining profitability objectives.
  • Manage and grow sales of bulk fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), lubricants, and oilfield chemical solutions.
  • Monitor basin activity, drilling schedules, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and support accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with operations, dispatch, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure exceptional customer service and reliable execution.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and customer activity within CRM systems.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements.

What You Bring
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial sales experience supporting upstream oilfield operations.
  • Proven success selling fuel, DEF, lubricants, oilfield chemicals, or related products and services.
  • Strong understanding of drilling, completions, production operations, and field logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business, grow existing accounts, and achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to travel regularly and work within field-based environments.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Houston, TX or Midland, TX.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basin activity, operator development plans, and upstream market trends.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
