Position Overview

Join our team as a Lien Negotiator to responsible for negotiating and resolving liens associated with personal injury cases. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in lien resolution, possessing exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews to identify and categorize liens, assessing their validity and determining negotiation potential
  • Engage directly with lienholders, including medical providers, insurance companies, and other relevant entities, to negotiate lien amounts and terms
  • Work closely with internal legal teams, case managers, and other staff to gather all necessary case information and documentation to support effective lien resolution
  • Provide consistent and detailed updates to attorneys and case managers regarding the progress of lien resolutions, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all negotiations, agreements, and communications related to lien resolutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Location: This role is located at our West Hollywood office and requires physical presence on-site.


Qualifications

  • Experience in personal injury lien negotiation is preferred, or a similar background, such as working in a medical provider's office with knowledge of medical bills and medical billing codes
  • Ability to analyze case details, financial data, and legal documents to develop effective negotiation strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple cases and negotiations concurrently
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and new information during the negotiation process
  • Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex negotiations and resolve disputes effectively
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple negotiations simultaneously under tight deadlines
