Lien Negotiator (Personal Injury) – Full-Time, In-Office
Sedaghat Law Group, APC
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Sedaghat Law Group, APC is seeking an experienced, results-driven Lien Negotiator to join our personal injury team. This role is critical to maximizing client recoveries and requires someone who is confident, detail-oriented, and persistent. We are looking for serious applicants who understand the importance of negotiation, deadlines, and file ownership in a fast-paced PI environment. 
This position is ideal for someone who is assertive, strategic, and motivated by results. The right candidate will take ownership of their files, push negotiations forward, and play a key role in ensuring strong outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of personal injury experience required
  • Prior lien negotiation experience strongly preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, track, and manage all liens on personal injury cases, including medical, health insurance, hospital, Medicare, Medi-Cal, ERISA, and attorney liens
  • Negotiate reductions with medical providers, insurance carriers, and lien holders to maximize client net recovery
  • Review settlement breakdowns and analyze balances prior to negotiation
  • Communicate with providers and lien representatives to dispute charges when appropriate
  • Prepare and maintain lien logs and status updates for attorneys and staff
  • Request final lien amounts and ensure accuracy before disbursement
  • Work closely with the settlement and accounting departments to resolve outstanding balances
  • Review case files to identify potential undisclosed liens and ensure compliance
  • Document all negotiations, reductions, and communications in the case management system
  • Assist with resolving lien disputes and delays that may impact settlement timelines
