Note: A California Bar license and at least 2 years of directly relevant personal injury litigation experience are required. Candidates should also have experience with depositions and arbitrations and be comfortable managing a reasonable caseload under the guidance of a supervising attorney.

Job Description

  • Develop case strategy and litigation tactics designed to effectively advocate for clients.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned personal injury client files from litigation through resolution.
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with clients throughout the life of their cases.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, arbitrations, negotiations, and other litigation activities.
  • Work closely with case managers, pre-litigation professionals, lien negotiators, and supervising attorneys.
  • Evaluate cases, identify issues, and develop practical strategies and game plans for successful outcomes.
  • Maintain organized case files, deadlines, documentation, and litigation activities.
  • Handle a reasonable caseload while maintaining high-quality client service and legal work.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve case strategy, processes, and results.
  • Approach each matter with persistence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for the client.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree required.
  • Active California State Bar license required.
  • 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience required.
  • Experience with depositions and arbitrations.
  • Strong legal research, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain an organized caseload.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, resilience, and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to learn, improve, and succeed.
